Name change?
Now that I am married I will be changing my name soon. So, I was thinking about changing my photography name as well. Help! Let me know what you think about the name change.

Updates!!!
If all goes as planned and Andrew gets his leave approved than we’ll be married by the end of this month! We’re going to have a civil ceremony and we’re going to save for a nicer & bigger church wedding next November. We’ve been playing the waiting game with this whole cancellation of his orders to Korea. If that does not go through than he’s leaving in 4 weeks to Korea for a YEAR! We’ve been waiting for over a month now for any news. With each passing day and no news I’ve been getting more and more depressed. All I want is to be married to the love of my life. I miss being with him and I want to start our lives together already!

A Mother’s Gift
I shot a session last Saturday at Laguna Beach for my boss and her little brother. They wanted to get some photos done so they can surprise their Mom for Mother’s Day. I thought it was an excellent idea and of course I couldn’t turn her down when she asked me if I could be her photographer. We were worried about the weather because our local meteorologist predicted AM showers. Luckily the GODS did not rain on our parade. It was a bit overcast but still very beautiful. Here are a few shots from our session. FYI: it is very difficult to do a family session with just two family members let alone a brother and sister. I managed though and I am satisfied with the end result. Enjoy!

Elle’s GRADUATING!!!
My best friend, Elle is graduating from CSULB next month and I had the honor of taking her graduation announcement photos. She is absolutely stunning and you can just see her glowing in the photos below. She is an amazing friend and I’d do anything for this girl!

Public EMPIRE shoot
My good friend Tony Dang from S-Life Photography asked me to second shoot with him for this new clothing line company. They have a couple of nice shirts out so you should definitely check them out! Who Am I?
These past couple of days I have been slipping away. I’ve turned into the person that I have feared of becoming. I have become so bitter and down right mean to everyone. I have no clue what happened for me to turn that way but I am so happy that I realize it now. Yesterday was a bad day/night for me. I came home from work sad & depressed. I ended up working out to release all the negative energy I had. When it was time for bed I couldn’t sleep. I ended up crying for a good hour and a half before knocking out on a wet pillow.
I am a change woman and I cannot wait to show my family & friends the new ME!
Of course after work I had to run and get some stress food. YUM! MOCHI & SORBET. Here I am with my Sister-In-Law at Mochilato in Irvine.

I know I am a little late on posting a new years blog but I’ve been pretty busy. I have been getting ready for the new semester to start and I am super excited and motivated to do well in my classes. I have also been working everyday and by the time I get home I’m exhausted. I do have to admit as much as I want a couple days off to myself I know I’ll miss my kids. Whenever we have a day off or its a holiday I get a little sad because I’m so use to seeing them everyday. We have a non-student day tomorrow and I’ll be working but I know for a fact I’ll be talking about the kids all day.
On another note, it’s the year of the OX! I have a feeling this year will bring new adventures. Last year was a bit too rough and depressing for a lot of us. I’m hoping this year will be the complete opposite. I am planning many new projects involving my photography business. I want to re-brand and really get my name out there. Networking is in the works so I am hoping to meet with a couple of photographers to get a feel for the biz. I am excited and a little scared but I know things will go well.
